Aims.
The aim of the Web Design Bureau of Mauritius is to offer resources in terms of designing material and above all to give to Mauritian Web designers a hands on approach to Web Standards and the use of CSS in Web design. This comes from the situation that most Mauritian Web agencies are still selling, designing and brute force launching non-standards compliant websites which have major drawbacks like bandwidth usage, bad maintainability and non-robust code. Accessibility is practically non-existent on the Mauritian Web design market.
Keeping all this in mind, the Web Design Bureau has been set up to try to bridge the gap between Mauritian Web designers and Web Standards while giving them the possibility of spicing up their creativity and inspiration.
