Ok, ok… It’s a fact that Internet has changed the #000000 to #FFFFFF of everyone’s life.
Twitter, Facebook, gReader & blogging are now so deeply entrenched in my life that yesterday’s Twitter outage made me feel powerless.
A world without Internet is unimaginable.
Cheers!

- How the Internet changes your life??
Wow, what a wondeful question….!!!!
All started in 2008, when my brother bought new laptop {Acer Aspire 4930} for some purposes… Some friend were creating blog and websites.(more aged than me) .
In the holidays i was feeling annoyed and was wondering how to create a Blog v/s Website
But “WTF”, didn’t know any languages.. but finally my bro taught me HTML a bit which I used to create my FIRST Blog in my LIFE !!!
In October I first started Blogging & wordpress, but wordpress was like dancing in a platform of 10inchx 10 inch… No graphical template!!!
Then a friend of my bro directed me to BLOGGER.com, which at first I was a ZERO !!!
With much difficulty I endured
harrowing ordeals with the totally bulls***t template
But finally on the 1st of January 2009 i’ve decided to change everything . Template and content of my blog which i posted….
working..working on it i finally was possessed by Blogging..
I could leave it ” Addicted “…then some month later I re changed the template to new one and COMPLETELY MODIFIED it to fit everyone screen… was a pretty difficult work, but finally was ranked between 10 on Afrigator and between 2,000,000… was nice discour !!!
Internet
i can’t imagine my life without it, because other than in person, this is the main way i communicate with my friends. …i hate phones. i use it all the time to do research for college and chat wiz friends, i actually would not be able to take some of my classes if i didn’t have access to the internet at home !!!! :O
Yeah Internet played a big role in my life, changed everything — BLOGGING !!!!
Me learned many things about the world including Area 51 & the UFOs
Can’t live without it !!!!

How the Internet changes your life:
Real life is all about compromises, restrictions and limits, but on the internet, the possibilities are endless… It’s a break from reality, it’s a passport to explore infinite realms… When I am tired of the shackles of the real world, I unleash myself on the cyberspace so that I can really do whatever the hell I want to do…

The internet is part of my life as much as having breakfast or watching football on TV. I could not live without it. The internet is powerful, innovative, interesting, immense and yet it’s capabilities are endless. The internet is like something great that has been discovered by man, and yet, the internet has so much more to offer! Living without the internet is like taking a trip back to the dark ages. It plays such an important part of our lives. We use the internet for so many purposes, reading the news, checking weather, reading emails, shopping. Everywhere we are the internet is there; whether on our computers, laptops, mobile phones or even fridges. Wherever we go, we need the internet! The ‘information highway’ it was once dubbed, but for those who are more tech-savvy will tell you that the internet is on the cusp of greatness. It is evolving in un-Darwinian proportions and, I for one, am glad i’m alive to witness it. Most people have heard of facebook but what most people have overlooked in their obsession of it is it’s usefulness and significance. Web 2.0 idealogy was first introduced almost a decade ago developing into the world-wide-web that is today. one-dimensional mono-chromatic webpages have evolved into vibrant, exciting, wonderful tool that it is today. “New Media” has added a whole new facet to the internet. It has undoubtedly revolutionised how we interact, creating a concept of social environment, one which disregards geographical location and distances. With the existence of this new social environment the power of the internet is shifted, it is not the same as before, for now users, me and you, feed it. WE drive the internet more and more everyday, feed it with ideas, knowledge, concepts. You no longer need to publish an article in a newspaper to get your voice heard, blogging is on the rise, and with it, the ascent of the human voice! It is now easier to post videos and photos online now more than ever and attached with it are our thoughts, ideas, aspirations. But of course it is not just our thoughts, ideas and aspirations, New Media allows all these to be connected or shared with other internet users to be interacted with their thoughts, ideas and aspirations. I believe the world wide web made the preliminary nodes of the internet, and now, New Media is weaving connections between these nodes and making the ‘Web’ of the World Wide Web
I write this, and yet i know in 10 years more time i will look back in even greater astonishment and amaze, for the internet has only just begun!
Why write this long mini-essay you ask? well, THIS is how the internet has changed my life.

Hello people,
I am a Mauritian student from Flacq, currently studying in Australia at Uni of South Australia.
Ok first what I study, is all about web technologies and the internet. I am currently majoring in website development and technologies.
How internet changed my life, well the internet having an expansion rate of 362 percent and reaching 1.6 billions people world wide its wasn’t something which I could get passed without knowing about.
Started as an Art design teacher in Mauritius and the need for digitalization of digital arts had a huge impact on me. So off for Australia to study information science and Digital Media.
Still studying at the moment, everything I do is based on using this wonderfull technology, from buying bus ticket, to paying bills and studying.
Internet has changed the way I live, the way we communicate and more. I call it “dating the internet” because I probably use more the internet and see many more different web pages a day than I see my girlfriend.
Anyway I very glad that Mauritius has a decent website for web developers to refer to and a way to standardize the whole concept of web designing.
A big congratulation to WebDesign Bureau of Mauritius, keep up the good job.
Cheers

Hi, I’m Esther Ang and I stay in Singapore, Southeast Asia.
Just over a decade ago, everyone was still busy hanging around the landline phones at home, busy punching away numbers on the numeric pad, sending alphanumeric messages to each other’s pagers in their own neighbourhoods.
Then came the handphones, big and bulky with tiny monochromatic screens, outstanding atennaes and all.
Now, handphones are everything. And it all comes down to the internet. Without this wonderful WWW, we wouldn’t be able to access email, facebook, twitter, blogs, websites full of information at your fingertips.
In fact, the reason I got to know about this site was because I was looking for wing designs through Google and clicked on the image of Designious vector packs and ended up reading about this competition!
I’m very happy to know that it is being extended to everyone around the world as well because that is what the internet is for. For EVERYONE!
So this is how the internet has changed my life. I stayed more connected to the world and its happenings, and I’m glad you’ve given me a chance to win this great vector packs (if I’m chosen).
Thanks Mauritius!
I am from Poland… faaaaaar away from beautifull dreamy Mauritius. BTW.
How Internet changed my LIFE!? I was born before Interet, i grew up without Internet. No i live in Internet… welll not that much, but I cannot work without it! I always wanted to be lawyer, historician, shirnk (!) but I fell in love with websites… so I stayed

The Internet hasn’t changed my life as such, but it helps in shaping it…The Web earned me a postgraduate scholarship (MSc Web Technology) and I hope it can earn me even more. My message to others: there are great opportunities through the Internet, check them out
