For my domain, samswebguide.com, the "sam" represents my name and the "web guide" speaks to what I do. I spent about a week trying to decide a name that would best represent me from an SEO and branding standpoint. My blog is about a month old now and has been getting some traffic from the "web guide" keyword phrase so it seems to be working.
